IPTV Smarters Pro: get the player and your account working together

Already using IPTV Smarters Pro, or considering it for your screen? The player opens a compatible playlist; your viewing account supplies the channels. Installing the app alone will not load your BritishIPTVOne subscription.

Choose the correct download for your device

Check the exact app name, publisher and operating-system requirements before installing. Similar names can belong to different developers. On Apple devices, Smarters Player Lite by WHMCS SMARTERS is a separate listing; check its current compatibility and available login options rather than assuming every Smarters version has the same menus.

Connect your viewing account

  1. Open the account or playlist menu. In versions that offer it, choose Add User and Login with Xtream Codes API. If your version offers playlist URLs instead, use the M3U route.
  2. Match the fields to your account message. Give the profile a recognisable name. Use the illustrated login fields below to enter the correct server address and credentials, or paste your complete M3U link into its own form.
  3. Load and test. Save the account, allow the library to load and open a live channel. If the app includes separate guide or on-demand sections, check those next.

For an IPTV Smarters Pro login error, check accidental spaces, the selected login method and whether the server address includes the supplied port. If it still fails, send support the app version and error message without exposing your password.

Can I install IPTV Smarters Pro on Firestick?

Check your Fire TV model first. An Android APK needs a compatible Fire OS device; it is not a Vega OS installation package. Use the Firestick setup routes to identify your system. If choosing a Smarters download, confirm its publisher and device support before installation rather than relying on an old Downloader code.

Are Xtreme HD IPTV and Xtreme IPTV the same as Xtream Codes?

No. Those names are used for other IPTV services or products; they do not identify the Xtream Codes login format. For this guide, use the account details supplied by BritishIPTVOne. A login from another provider will not become a BritishIPTVOne account by changing the player.

01 / FIRE TV

Set up your Firestick with IPTV

Start with your Fire TV model and operating system. Fire OS and Vega OS use different app packages, so choose the matching route below.

Check before you start. Fire TV Stick 4K Select and several newer sticks run Vega OS. Use a player published for that system; the Fire OS APK routes below apply to compatible Fire OS models.

Choose a player for your Fire TV

Televizo

Free player · optional Premium

A straightforward playlist player for compatible Fire OS devices. Premium adds convenience features and removes ads.

TiviMate

Free download · paid Premium features

A remote-friendly TV player with a programme guide and advanced library tools. Check which functions your chosen version unlocks.

MaxPlayer for Vega

Separate paid player subscription

A documented native option for supported Vega devices, including Fire TV Stick 4K Select. Check its listing on your device.

  1. Check Fire OS
Open Settings → My Fire TV → About and check the model. Continue with this APK route only on a compatible Fire OS device.
  2. Install Downloader
Find Downloader in the Amazon Appstore. If prompted, enable installation permission for Downloader under Developer options → Install unknown apps. Menu wording varies by model.
  3. Get the official player
Open televizo.net in Downloader and use the developer’s APK download. Install Televizo, then open it.
  4. Add your playlist
Choose the option to add a playlist. Give it a name and paste the full M3U URL from your BritishIPTVOne account message.
  5. Load and check
Save, wait for the list to import and open a channel. Recheck the complete URL if no list appears.
  1. Confirm the device
Use this route on a compatible Fire OS model. TiviMate is designed for Android TV-style devices, rather than touch-screen phones.
  2. Install the official APK
Use Downloader and the APK download supplied by tivimate.com. Give Downloader installation permission if the device requests it.
  3. Choose a login method
Open TiviMate and add a playlist. For Xtream Codes, enter the server address, username and password supplied with your account. For M3U, paste the complete playlist URL.
  4. Let the guide load
Finish the import and allow channel and guide data to refresh. Add a supplied EPG URL if your chosen login method requires one.
  5. Review Premium separately
If you need a locked app feature, check TiviMate’s current Premium terms. The Companion app manages Premium activation on devices without Google Play; it is not the viewing player.
  1. Use the device Appstore
Search for MaxPlayer on your Vega Fire TV. Install the version offered for that device.
  2. Link the player account
Open MaxPlayer and use Get Code to link it from your phone, or use its normal sign-in option.
  3. Add the viewing account
In the player account, add your M3U playlist or Xtream server address, username and password.
  4. Return to the TV
Load the playlist and test a channel. Player billing is separate from your BritishIPTVOne plan.

Questions about Fire TV

Check the model and operating system in the device’s About screen. Fire OS instructions use Android-based APKs; a Vega model needs an app built for Vega.

The menu depends on the Fire TV model and system. On supported Fire OS devices it may need enabling through the About screen. Send us the exact model if the option is absent; do not follow APK instructions on Vega.

If you already own a suitable Android TV box, Google TV device or Apple TV, you may not need a Fire TV Stick. Check the matching device guide and confirm your player and login format before buying hardware. App availability varies by system; an Android APK is not interchangeable with an Apple TV or Roku app.

02 / ANDROID & GOOGLE TV

Android TV and Google TV installation

Use the device’s own app store on a supported Android TV box, Google TV device or television. This includes Chromecast with Google TV and Google TV Streamer; an older cast-only Chromecast follows a different route.

Choose an Android TV player

Televizo

Free player · optional Premium

A simple starting point for importing an M3U playlist, browsing channels and using available guide data.

TiviMate

Free download · paid Premium features

A TV-focused option for viewers who want a large-screen guide and more control over their channel organisation.

  1. Find the TV app
Open Apps or Google Play on the television. Search for Televizo – IPTV player by Andrey Menscikov and install the available TV version.
  2. Create a playlist
Open the player and choose its add-playlist option. Name the list so you can recognise your account.
  3. Paste the complete M3U URL
Use the playlist address from your account message. Keep its full query string, including the username and password parameters.
  4. Save and test
Allow the import to finish. Open a channel, check sound and add a favourite. Add the supplied guide address if needed.
  1. Install from Google Play
Search for TiviMate IPTV Player by Armobsoft FZE on the TV or box. Install the official listing where available.
  2. Add the account
Choose Add playlist and select the supported Xtream Codes or M3U method.
  3. Enter the matching details
Xtream uses your server address, username and password. M3U uses the complete playlist URL. Do not put the full M3U address in the Xtream server field.
  4. Import and organise
Finish the import, allow the EPG to update and check a live channel. Review optional Premium features in the app before purchasing.

Questions about Android & Google TV

Chromecast with Google TV can install compatible TV apps. Older Chromecast models receive casts from a supported phone or computer app instead. Both casting devices normally need the same Wi-Fi network.

TV players are designed for remote navigation and a large screen. Use the platform version offered by the store rather than assuming a phone-only interface will work well on a television.

Only when the app, storage and source support recording. It can use an additional connection, so the viewing plan must allow the streams being used together. A Premium app licence alone does not add service connections.

03 / SAMSUNG SMART TV

Samsung Smart TV setup

Samsung TVs use their own app store. Check the model and the apps offered in your region before choosing a player licence.

Check before you start. A Samsung television does not use Android APKs. SS IPTV’s documented USB route is limited to listed older models; it is not a universal alternative for current Tizen TVs.

Compare Samsung TV setup routes

SmartOne IPTV

Paid activation per TV

A native option for supported Samsung TVs, with M3U and Xtream account pairing through the developer’s website.

SS IPTV: older models

Free player · limited model route

An advanced USB option only for older Samsung models listed by the developer. Start by checking that list.

  1. Find the app
Press Home, open Apps/Search and look for SmartOne IPTV. Install it only if the listing is offered for your TV.
  2. Read the app’s TV address
Open SmartOne and note the TV MAC address shown inside the player. Use that app identifier rather than guessing from a router label.
  3. Add the viewing details
On your phone or computer, open SmartOne’s official Upload Playlist page. Enter the TV MAC and choose the matching M3U or Xtream form.
  4. Save and reload
Save the playlist, then reload SmartOne on the television. Check a live channel and a film if your account includes both.
  5. Complete any required activation
If SmartOne requests activation, use the developer’s official activation page and select the licence for this TV. Confirm the current fee before paying.
  1. Check the exact model
Read the developer’s Samsung compatibility section. Its documented USB packages cover specified older non-Tizen and Tizen televisions.
  2. Use the matching package
Download the matching archive from SS IPTV’s official instructions and extract it to the USB drive using the folder layout shown there.
  3. Run it on the supported TV
Insert the USB drive and follow the developer’s model-specific launch instructions. The drive needs to remain inserted for this documented route.
  4. Add an external playlist
In SS IPTV, open Settings → Content → External playlists → Add. Enter a name and your complete M3U URL, then save.
  5. Choose another route if unsupported
If your TV is outside the supported list or cannot launch the app, return to the device’s available store players or ask us about a compatible external streaming device.

Questions about Samsung Smart TV

SS IPTV’s official English installation page says it is unavailable in Samsung Smart Hub. Its older USB instructions should not be treated as a store installation guide for every Samsung television.

Compare the TV MAC in the app with the one used on the upload page. Check that you selected the matching account form, saved the list and reloaded the TV app. Ask us to verify the account if it still does not load.

04 / LG SMART TV

LG webOS installation guide

Find a player in LG Apps or LG Content Store, then add the login format that player accepts. Availability depends on your television and software version.

Choose a player for LG webOS

SS IPTV

Free player

A supported LG option for adding an external M3U playlist without a separate player activation payment.

SmartOne IPTV

Paid activation per TV

An alternative on supported LG models, using the app’s TV MAC to pair an M3U playlist or Xtream account.

  1. Install on the television
Press Home, open LG Apps or LG Content Store and search for SS IPTV. Install the available listing for your model.
  2. Open playlist settings
Launch SS IPTV and go to Settings → Content → External playlists.
  3. Add the link
Choose Add, enter a playlist name and paste the full M3U URL from your account message.
  4. Save and open the list
Save, return to the main screen and select your new playlist tile. Allow the channels to load before checking playback.
  1. Find SmartOne
Search LG Apps/Content Store and install it if your TV offers the listing.
  2. Note the TV MAC
Open the app and read the identifier it displays. Keep the app open while pairing if possible.
  3. Pair the account
Open the developer’s Upload Playlist page on your phone. Enter that TV MAC and your complete playlist or the requested server credentials.
  4. Reload and check
Save the account, reload the TV player and check picture and sound. Confirm the separate activation terms only after verifying the app works on your model.

Questions about LG Smart TV

LG changes menu names across webOS versions. Look for Apps or LG Content Store and use the model’s search function. If the player is missing, send us the TV model and webOS version.

Not necessarily. The TV, app and source must support that track or subtitle format. Test another title and an available alternative track, then tell us your model and the affected item.

05 / APPLE TV

Apple TV player setup

Use the App Store on a compatible Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K. Choose a full IPTV library player or a basic network-stream player depending on how you want to browse.

Choose an Apple TV player

IPTVX

Free download · separate paid features

A library-style player with live-TV navigation, supported guide features and Apple-device sync. Check the current plan in the app.

VLC

Free · basic network playback

An alternative for compatible video streams. It does not provide the same television guide and library workflow as a dedicated IPTV player.

  1. Install the genuine app
Search the Apple TV App Store for IPTVX by Bending X. Check the current tvOS requirement shown in the listing.
  2. Create a playlist
Open Playlist Manager → New playlist and choose Xtream or M3U playlist via URL.
  3. Use the correct fields
For Xtream, enter a name, complete server address including its port, username and password. For M3U, paste the whole playlist URL.
  4. Import and check the guide
Save and wait for the initial import. Check live playback and guide data. Add the supplied EPG address when the source needs a separate guide.
  1. Install VLC
Find VLC for Mobile from VideoLAN in the Apple TV App Store where available.
  2. Open a network stream
Use the player’s network-stream option and enter a compatible stream address supplied for your account.
  3. Start playback
Open the stream and check sound and picture. For a complete channel grid and Xtream library, use a supported dedicated IPTV app instead.

Questions about Apple TV

This installation route needs an Apple TV model that can install tvOS apps. Older Apple TV generations without an App Store cannot follow these steps.

The player developer’s purchase and your viewing subscription are separate. Check the player purchase screen or Restore Purchases using the appropriate Apple account.

06 / ROKU

Roku installation: check the channel first

Use the Roku Streaming Store on your UK account. Find an available player, then check that it accepts the playlist or login format supplied with your plan.

Check before you start. A listing can vary by region and device. Check the actual Roku store before purchasing an app licence or choosing a viewing plan for this setup.

Check the available Roku players

MaxPlayer

Separate paid player subscription

The developer documents a native Roku channel with account pairing and M3U or Xtream import.

IPTV Smart Player Lite

Potential free option · check listing

Its Roku listing advertises M3U/M3U8 playback without a subscription fee. Verify availability and current terms on your device.

  1. Find the Roku channel
Press Home and search the Streaming Store for MaxPlayer. Add it if the listing is available to your device and region.
  2. Link your player account
Open the channel and use the device code to link it through my.maxplayer.tv.
  3. Add your viewing details
In the player account, add the M3U URL or the Xtream server address, username and password from your BritishIPTVOne message.
  4. Load on the television
Return to Roku, load the list and test a channel. Check the player’s current separate subscription before continuing with paid access.
  1. Check the UK listing
Search your Roku Streaming Store for the exact app name. Review its developer information and current charges before adding it.
  2. Add an M3U playlist
Open the channel’s playlist entry option and paste the full M3U URL provided with your account.
  3. Save and test
Allow the playlist to load and open a channel. This route depends on that app being available and compatible with your stream format.

Questions about Roku

The Android installation method does not apply to Roku. Use a supported Roku channel and its own setup instructions.

Send us your Roku model and store region. We can help check another available route. Do not pay for a player on another platform assuming it will unlock a Roku version.

A device-pairing screen usually links the player developer’s account. Your viewing server, username and password are then entered when adding the IPTV playlist. These are separate accounts.

Official reference: MaxPlayer Roku instructions

07 / ANDROID MOBILE

Android phone and tablet setup

Choose a touch-friendly IPTV app from Google Play. Use your phone’s own screen for the first playback check before adding casting or another display.

Choose an Android phone player

Televizo

Free player · optional Premium

A phone and tablet player with playlist browsing, available programme-guide data and optional paid convenience features.

VLC for Android

Free · basic playback alternative

A general media player for compatible network streams when you need a simple playback check rather than a full IPTV library.

  1. Install from Google Play
Search for Televizo – IPTV player by Andrey Menscikov and install it on the phone or tablet.
  2. Add a viewing list
Open the app’s add-playlist option and give your account a recognisable name.
  3. Paste the complete address
Enter the full M3U URL supplied with your account. Copy and paste helps preserve every part of the link.
  4. Check a channel
Save, allow the list to load and play a channel. Check guide data and choose a favourite before changing optional settings.
  1. Get the official player
Install VLC for Android from VideoLAN using the developer’s official download links.
  2. Open a stream
Use the player’s network-stream entry option and paste a compatible supplied stream or playlist address.
  3. Test and choose your interface
Check picture and audio. Use a dedicated playlist player if you want a channel grid and richer guide navigation.

Questions about Android mobile

The developer lists ad removal, backup and restore, parental controls and automatic full-screen opening among its paid features. It is a separate one-time player purchase, rather than extra channels.

Televizo lists Chromecast support. Your phone, casting target and stream format must be compatible. Start on the same Wi-Fi network and check playback on the phone first.

Wi-Fi and mobile data use different network paths and signal conditions. Compare another channel and check the phone’s connection and data settings. Tell support which network is affected.

08 / IPHONE & IPAD

iPhone and iPad installation

Install a touch-friendly player from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad. Check the required iOS or iPadOS version, then test playback on the device before setting up AirPlay.

Choose an iPhone or iPad player

IPTVX

Free download · separate paid features

An Apple player for browsing live channels, films and series from your own compatible playlist.

VLC for Mobile

Free · basic network streams

A general-purpose alternative for compatible streams. Choose a dedicated IPTV player if you prefer a full channel guide.

  1. Install the Apple app
Open the App Store and find IPTVX by Bending X. Check that your device meets its current iOS or iPadOS requirement.
  2. Add a playlist
Open the playlist manager and choose the supported Xtream or M3U entry method.
  3. Enter the viewing details
Use the supplied server address, username and password for Xtream, or paste the complete M3U URL. Name the playlist and save.
  4. Import and play
Allow the library to load. Test a live channel and the available audio controls before setting up optional AirPlay or syncing.
  1. Install VLC from VideoLAN
Find the official VLC for Mobile listing in the App Store.
  2. Use the network tab
Open Network and choose its network-stream option. Paste a compatible address from your viewing details.
  3. Open and check
Start playback and check sound. If you need Xtream library navigation rather than a single-stream check, use a compatible IPTV player.

Questions about iPhone & iPad

No. Your viewing password is the one supplied with your BritishIPTVOne account. Apple sign-in and player purchases use their own account screens.

IPTVX lists AirPlay support. The receiving TV or Apple TV, network and stream must support the chosen playback route. Test local playback first and keep the devices on the appropriate shared network.

Do not assume it does. IPTVX explains that store entitlements follow the purchase platform. Check the current player plan before buying access for a different operating system.

09 / WINDOWS

IPTV for Windows: desktop setup

Use a desktop player that accepts the account format you received. IPTVnator provides a playlist-focused option; VLC can help check compatible streams.

Compare Windows player options

IPTVnator

Free personal player

A desktop option supporting M3U playlists, Xtream accounts and XMLTV guide information.

MaxPlayer

Separate paid player subscription

A Microsoft Store option for a dedicated TV interface and account syncing. Check the Windows requirement on its current listing.

VLC

Free · simple playback check

A useful desktop alternative for opening a compatible playlist URL or direct stream.

  1. Download the Windows release
Use the official IPTVnator project’s release page and choose the Windows installer suitable for your computer.
  2. Add the source
Open the app and add a playlist using the supported M3U or Xtream option.
  3. Enter the matching details
Paste the full M3U address, or fill the requested server address, username and password. Save and allow the import to finish.
  4. Set up the programme guide
Add the supplied XMLTV EPG address when required. Open a channel from the imported list and test playback.
  1. Find the store app
Open Microsoft Store and search for MaxPlayer using the developer’s official store link.
  2. Link the player account
Install, open and register or sign in to your MaxPlayer account.
  3. Add your viewing account
Add your supplied M3U or Xtream details in the player account.
  4. Check before continuing
Load the channels on Windows and test them. Review the player’s separate recurring charge and device allowance.
  1. Install VLC
Download VLC for Windows from VideoLAN’s official website.
  2. Open the network address
Choose Media → Open Network Stream. Paste your compatible playlist or stream URL and select Play.
  3. Browse the loaded items
Use View → Playlist if a list was imported. This route does not turn a bare server address and password into an Xtream library.

Questions about Windows

Use a compatible full network URL or playlist file. The server address alone is not a channel. If your message only contains Xtream fields, use a player that accepts those fields or ask us for the appropriate playlist.

Try another channel and another compatible player to separate a source issue from a playback-format issue. Note whether audio works and whether the problem affects live TV, films or both.

10 / MAC

IPTV player setup for Mac

Check whether your Mac has an Intel processor or Apple silicon before choosing an installer or App Store player.

Choose a player for your Mac

IPTVnator

Free personal player

A macOS playlist option. Choose the release suitable for your Mac’s processor and operating system.

IPTVX

Separate paid features · Apple silicon

An Apple library player whose current listing requires an M1-or-newer Mac. Check its current macOS requirement too.

  1. Check the Mac
Open About This Mac and note the chip or processor and macOS version.
  2. Choose the official release
Open the IPTVnator project’s release page and choose the matching macOS package.
  3. Add the viewing source
Open the player and add your supplied M3U playlist or supported Xtream account.
  4. Import and test
Let the channel list finish loading. Add the supplied guide address where needed and check a channel’s picture and audio.
  1. Check eligibility in the App Store
Read the current Mac compatibility section. This route is for supported Apple silicon Macs, rather than Intel Macs.
  2. Install and add a playlist
Open the player and create a playlist using the supported Xtream or M3U method.
  3. Enter the account details
Fill the requested server credentials or complete playlist URL, save and allow the library to import.
  4. Review player access
Check playback and the player plan shown for your Apple account. Your viewing subscription remains a separate purchase.

Mac compatibility

Start with an appropriate IPTVnator macOS release or VLC for macOS. The current IPTVX listing requires Apple silicon, so do not buy it assuming it supports Intel.

11 / DEDICATED IPTV BOXES

IPTV box setup: Formuler and BuzzTV

Start with the player supplied for your IPTV box. Formuler and BuzzTV have different menus, so choose the manufacturer’s route rather than installing another player first.

Open the steps for your IPTV box

Formuler MYTVOnline

Supplied on compatible Formuler models

Choose the content-source menu for your MYTVOnline version, then use the connection type your account supports.

BuzzTV player

Supplied route varies by box model

Use the box’s own Server settings for XC, M3U or an authorised MAC portal. Supported models offer phone/QR entry.

  1. Identify the app version
Open MYTVOnline and check whether you use version 2, 3 or 4.
  2. Open the source menu
Version 2: Menu → Connections. Version 3: Menu → Content Manager → Content Sources. Version 4: Menu → Settings → App Settings → Content Sources.
  3. Choose the account format
For XC, use the server address, username and password. For M3U, use the full playlist and supplied EPG address. A MAC-ID portal requires provider approval.
  4. Save and connect
Add the source and load the channels. Use the MAC-ID shown by MYTVOnline only when your provider requests that connection type.
  5. Check the result
Test live TV and guide data before organising favourites. Send us the app version and any error if connecting fails.
  1. Open the server list
Find Server settings. On supported BuzzTV 6 boxes it is reached through the settings popup; some models show Servers on the home screen.
  2. Choose the matching connection
Select XC for server address, username and password, M3U for a full playlist URL, or a MAC portal only if authorised.
  3. Enter from the remote or phone
Use the model’s phone/PC option and scan its QR code if available. Follow the local pairing instructions shown by the box.
  4. Save and load
Save the source and open its channels. Use the model’s supplied BuzzTV app or system rather than a different model’s installation package.

Questions about Dedicated IPTV boxes

For a MYTVOnline MAC-ID portal, use the identifier requested in the app’s portal instructions. Do not substitute a network MAC from another screen. First confirm that this portal method is available for your account.

Check the player’s recording-storage setting before scheduling a programme. Most BuzzTV models use USB storage, while some support an internal drive. Storage options and recording support vary by model; use the manufacturer’s guide for your box.

12 / MAG & ENIGMA2

MAG and Enigma2: choose the receiver route

These receivers use different systems. Confirm the exact model, firmware or Enigma2 image and account format before installing a plugin or changing portal settings.

Check before you start. M3U and Xtream details alone do not confirm that a MAG-compatible portal is available. Ask us to check the required account format for your receiver before relying on this route.

Choose your receiver’s setup route

Traditional MAG portal

Built-in receiver route · confirm support

For a supported MAG model using a provider-authorised portal. Android-based MAG models can have a different setup.

Enigma2 with XStreamity

Developer-distributed plugin · image dependent

An Xtream playlist route for a compatible Enigma2 receiver and image. Package type and requirements vary.

  1. Confirm the receiver and portal
Send us the model and ask whether a compatible authorised portal is available for your account. A normal playlist URL is not a portal URL.
  2. Arrange MAC authorisation
Only if the portal route is supported, supply the receiver identifier requested for authorisation and obtain the matching portal address.
  3. Open portal settings
On traditional supported MAG firmware, use Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals. Operator-customised firmware can hide or change these menus.
  4. Save and restart the portal
Enter the confirmed address, save and reload or restart as instructed for that model. Record the existing settings before changing them.
  1. Identify the image
Check the receiver model, installed image and its package requirements. Choose a supported plugin build for that environment.
  2. Install the developer package
Use the official XStreamity distribution or your image’s maintained package source. Follow that image’s package installation process.
  3. Add the Xtream playlist
Open XStreamity in the receiver menu/plugins and choose its add-playlist option. Enter the supplied server and viewing credentials.
  4. Save and choose the account
Save the entry, select it and open the available channel section. Report the image version and exact error if the account will not load.

Questions about MAG & Enigma2

No. A portal connection requires a compatible portal address and provider authorisation. Ask us to confirm that method rather than converting or guessing the address.

Receiver images use different package formats, dependencies and software versions. Match the plugin to your installed image; a package for another image may not install or run.

First identify the model, firmware/image and account format. A reset can remove working settings and is not the first setup step. Send support those details so we can identify the appropriate route.

Xtream IPTV login, M3U links and TV pairing explained

For Xtream IPTV setup, match the server address, username and password to the separate fields in your player. If you received a playlist link instead, use the M3U option. Your app-store account and viewing login are separate.

Xtream: three separate fields

Enter the server address, username and password into their own fields. Include any supplied port. The complete M3U playlist link belongs in an M3U entry screen.

TV pairing: use the app identifier

Some TV players use a TV MAC address or pairing code. Read it inside that player, then use the developer’s official pairing page to add your viewing details. Keep passwords and playlist links private.

M3U playlist or M3U8 stream: use the supplied link

Paste your complete IPTV M3U playlist URL, including everything after the question mark. Keep the link private because it may contain your login details.

An M3U8 playlist is often used for an individual HLS stream; it is not necessarily your full channel list. Use the format supplied for your account rather than changing the extension yourself.

If the app requests an EPG (electronic programme guide), add the supplied XMLTV address. Playback and guide data are separate, so a channel can play even when no programme listing appears.

Free and paid players: choose for the features.

Start with a player that supports your device and login format. Paid features can make a playlist easier to browse and manage, but a licence does not guarantee uninterrupted streaming.

Free or included software

Some players offer basic playback without an activation payment. Others are supplied with compatible boxes. Check the supported login format, device version and any limits before importing your account.

Optional paid features

Paid versions may add ad removal, backup, parental controls, recording or library tools. Check the feature list for your platform: the same app can offer different options on a TV and a phone.

Your BritishIPTVOne plan supplies viewing access; any player licence is a separate software charge. Check whether that charge is one-time or recurring before purchasing.

IPTV not working? Start with these playback checks

Playback depends on the stream, the player and the connection to your screen. Wi-Fi or app issues can interrupt viewing even when a stream is available. These quick checks help narrow down the cause, and we can check the account and stream with you if needed.

Try another channel first. Compare two other channels and an on-demand title. If only one item fails, note its name and the time. If everything fails, continue with the connection and login checks.

Check the connection at your screen. A weak Wi-Fi signal can interrupt viewing even with a fast broadband plan. Move the device closer to the router or use supported Ethernet, and pause large downloads. Restart the router if the connection remains unstable.

Refresh the player and device. Install available updates from official sources, then restart the player and device. If your device offers Clear cache, try that next. Clear data or Clear storage can remove saved logins, so keep your account details first.

Check the selected login method.
Re-copy the details from your account message and remove accidental spaces. A complete M3U link and an Xtream server address belong in different forms. The login examples above show which fields to use.

Check how many streams are running.
Stop playback on unused devices and check any recording or multiview sessions. Stay within your plan’s simultaneous-stream allowance; a player licence does not add service connections.

Refresh a missing programme guide. If channels play but the EPG is blank, refresh the guide and check the supplied XMLTV address and device time zone. Guide coverage varies, so some channels may have no listings.

Check sound and subtitle options. Try another available audio or subtitle track, then compare a second title. Some formats depend on the player and device. If the issue continues, tell us the affected item and whether it happens in another compatible player.

Need a hand with your setup?

Send us your device model, player name and the step you reached. Include the error message if one appears, so we can help you work through the next check.
